Position Overview: The Accounting and Reporting Analyst supports the company’s close, consolidations and financial reporting process.

Job Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  •              Prepares initial set up and rollover of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q/10-K)
  • Prepares reports supporting SEC financial statements and disclosures
  • Participates in the drafting of financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, Non-GAAP tables, and other SEC disclosures
  • Assists with preparation and review of quarterly earnings documents to ensure accuracy and consistency with 10-Q/10-K
  • Participates in technical accounting and SEC reporting research and benchmarking
  • Assists with US GAAP checklists
  • Assists with XBRL tagging in SEC filings
  • Prepares analyses using HFM/Hyperion/Smartview Excel data pulls
  • Responds to internal and external auditors’ inquiries.
  • Maintains and performs SOX controls related to job responsibilities
  • Prepares consolidated monthly fluctuation analyses for management review.
  • Prepares and monitors Corporate reporting calendar
  • Prepares journal entries for the corporate and consolidated close, including stock compensation entries.
  • Prepare US Governmental filings (e.g., Census, Bureau of Economic Analysis) and collaborate with team to develop a sustainable process at the consolidated level and at the wholesale and manufacturing reporting level (Manufacturing surveys and governmental filings, Mauritius statutory filings).
  • Complete other ad-hoc requests, including stock compensation analysis for tax department, corporate initiatives and projects as requested by management.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for distribution to managers throughout the company.
  • Assist in preparation fixed coverage ratio to facilitate the monitoring of debt covenants
  • Assist in review gross profit elimination analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with external reporting (preferably SEC reporting), which may include financial statement and disclosure preparation, tie outs, and reviews
  • Experience with Hyperion / HFM / Smartview a plus
  • Superior proficiency is Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with DFIN ActiveDisclosure a plus
  • CPA Certification a plus
  • Audit/public accounting background a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Expected Salary Range: $64,320-$80,400

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
