Job Description

Position Overview: The Accounting and Reporting Analyst supports the company’s close, consolidations and financial reporting process.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Prepares journal entries for the corporate and consolidated close, including stock compensation entries.
  • Responds to internal and external auditors’ inquiries.
  • Maintains and performs SOX controls related to job responsibilities.
  • Prepare US Governmental filings (e.g., Census, Bureau of Economic Analysis) and collaborate with team to develop a sustainable process at the consolidated level and at the wholesale and manufacturing reporting level (Manufacturing surveys and governmental filings, Mauritius statutory filings).
  • Complete other ad-hoc requests, including stock compensation analysis for tax department, corporate initiatives and projects as requested by management.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for distribution to managers throughout the company.
  • Prepares reports and footnotes for the SEC filings
  • Prepares consolidated monthly fluctuation analyses for management review.
  • Provide data and accounting information for quarterly earnings release and expand automation and provide stock compensation information for proxy filings
  • Set up analyses using HFM/Hyperion/Smartview Excel data pulls
  • Assist in preparation fixed coverage ratio
  • Assist in review gross profit elimination analysis

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 2-5 years of relevant Accounting experience
  • Superior proficiency is Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Hyperion / HFM / Smartview a plus
  • Experience with DFIN ActiveDisclousure a plus
  • CPA Certification a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
