Job Description

Job Overview

The Art Production Manager is accountable for the execution of product & packaging design for all seasons and themes. This creative and technically skilled manager will supervise Production Artists to interpret and finalize the creative vision for our products & packaging. The manager will oversee multiple artists, concurrent projects and will ultimately be accountable for on-time and in-scope completion of artwork files. The Art Production Manager must also ensure artwork meets all regulatory and compliance requirements as well as continually monitor and improve all processes as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Present commercially viable ideas and designs to management throughout the development process
  • Review all artwork through a creative lens; guide artists to identify solutions that are grounded in modern design and trends
  • Ensure consistency with all design aesthetics, manufacturing, and content requirements
  • Manage day-to-day progress of artists to ensure deadlines are met
  • Empower team members to identify challenges and implement change for positive results
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization
  • Use proprietary database to track project status
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Report on project status at regular intervals and as needed
  • Ensure accuracy which is critical for marketing, legal and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • BA in design or related study
  • 8-10 years working experience in production management

Expected Salary Range: 80,000-95,000

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
