The PCHI Human Resources team is focused on delivering people solutions that enable the business while aligning with PCHI’s purpose and promise to make Joy easy. Our HR Service Delivery model is organized around three groups: HR Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and Shared People Practices. This is a collaborative, highly strategic environment that is results-driven, agile, and customer-focused.  

 

Job Overview:

The Director of People Data and Analytics is responsible to establish the technology, infrastructure to acquire and manage people data and generate analytics and reporting to support and inform HR strategy and process excellence.

This role leads our information systems developing a roadmap to outline priorities to ensure that our technology and HR systems are optimized to simplify data management, ensure compliance and that analytics and user experience insights are leveraged to refine operations and initiatives. The Director will maintain an accurate understanding of employment laws to ensure regular policies updates are updated in our systems and integrated into processes that support HR disciplines, i.e., Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, etc. This role will maintain a strong working knowledge across all HR disciplines and will aid in developing processes that enable functional and cross functional partners to leverage tools and receive or obtain deliver data to meet performance objectives.  This role will be critical to developing education to promote understanding of data, it’s maintenance and how best to utilize to support initiatives and decision making. In this role, maintaining effective partnerships with external vendors and key internal stakeholders will be a priority. This role will report directly to the VP, Shared People Practices.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Establish standard operating processes (SOPs) to complete required HR related actions and activities and enable systems and data to support performance and compliance with company or legally required standards.
  • Document SOPs to explain required purpose. actions and responsibilities as well as provide training for new and existing team members.
  • Engage with HR partners to understand business and performance needs and challenges to develop systems and data that facilitates ease of execution.
  • Develop a full understanding of HR info systems and technologies to support execution of practices and development, offering insights into technology enhancements or improvements.
  • Lead compliance efforts across the enterprise to ensure consistency and efficacy of systems and tools.
  • Manage SOX compliance initiatives, partnering with Internal audit on the development of control narratives and manage the effective deployment/maintenance of controls.
  • Act as a key partner to PCHI legal team in obtaining data and insights as well as managing compliance protocols, i.e., position eliminations/adverse impact.
  • Leverage data and analysis to understand performance gaps and challenges to ensure SOPs are realistic and achievable. Refine SOPs based on users experience and insights.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

  • College Degree or relevant work experience
  • 10+ years HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with experience leading business transformation teams.
  • Experience working with employment legislation across multi state and jurisdictions
  • Previous experience developing policies and SOPs inside or outside of HR
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience leading a team, monitoring, and measuring performance and providing effective coaching
  • Experience in a service industry providing general support to decentralized work teams
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems; with preferable experience with ADP
  • Excellent Communication skills and experience providing technical support to matrixed organizations, insights, and solutions to senior functional leaders.
  • Advocates and aligns technology for better information, access, reporting, efficiency, and relationships.

  • Resourceful. Maintain effective knowledge of legal trends and legislative changes. Identify various data sources and key stakeholders to understand requirements of policy or process
  • Acts with Urgency. Responds with urgency to address areas of opportunity and risk across the enterprise.
  • Technical Knowledge, Knowledge of information systems and applications to ensure efficiency and accuracy of data and maintenance/management processes.

Expected Salary Range: $125,000 - 188,000

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
