 Job Overview:

Party City is looking for a Project and Process Manager to support highly cross functional teams delivering critical enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role will support cross-functional partners to complete projects on time and within budget. This individual will also play an important role in ensuring the scope and objectives of projects are achieved.  The ideal candidate will mitigate risk by anticipating various scenarios throughout the course of a project and build actionable plans accordingly. You will monitor the progression of projects, alleviate bottlenecks as needed and communicate project health through our enterprise transformation tools.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing simple to use and repeatable processes that document new ways of working and enable adoption of new standards within the organization. You will partner closely with critical cross functional partners to develop an enterprise-wide product operating model utilizing these processes.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support executive sponsors and program owners through utilization of enterprise portfolio tools such as project health dashboards, timeline roadmaps and risk and decision trackers
  • Identify inter-dependencies across programs and projects ad prioritizes tactical workstreams to ensure seamless integration of all cross-functional work into delivery of total project
  • Understand project wants and needs; design effective processes, help with organizational effectiveness, manage change, and construct learning programs to drive business benefits
  • Engage with HR Learning and Development team to develop SOPs and training content for all developed process improvements
  • Ensure all project participants and stakeholders are set up for success by removing blockers, identifying risks, and facilitating communication and collaboration
  • Lead and schedule meetings, daily standups and other functional working sessions needed to keep project on track and document meeting take-away
  • Prioritize, identify, and document critical path and cross-functional dependencies
  • Assess and monitor resource constraints starting at project kick off and throughout the entire project to ensure there are no resource risks to the project
  • Ability to take technical steps of a tool/technological implementation and build end to end process documentation within our product operating model

 

Skills Required:

  • Understand how process development impacts organizational design, change management strategies and learning and development needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, for various channels, with varying levels of complexity, with multiple teams, all at the same time, with ease
  • Thrives in a fast paced, collaborative team environment

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 4+ years of corporate retail/project management experience
  • Experience working within supply chain, logistics or inventory optimization strongly preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet project management or equivalent platform
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and written
  • An emotionally intelligent person who can diplomatically and tactfully defuse stressful situations.
  • Builds relationships that foster trust and confidence in your ability to solve problems and remove roadblocks
  • Proficiency in taking complex information and turning it into concise executive level documentation
  • A motivated, quick learner who works with minimal to no supervision

 

 

Expected Salary Range: $80,440 - $100,550

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
