Job Overview

The Product Life-Cycle Manager will oversee the product life-cycle calendar and liaise with cross-functional stakeholders across the company to ensure deadlines are being met to deliver product to our customer on time. The position will also meet regularly and work with cross-functional leaders on special projects to help create new best practices to enable the success of the product life-cycle calendar.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Clearly understands and is proficient with the end-to-end product lifecycle
  • Owns and manages the strategy, upkeep, and communication of the product lifecycle calendar for PCHI
  • Creates & achieves successful calendars in partnership with cross-functional leaders that ultimately deliver on-time product to our customers
  • Creates calendar reminders for critical deadlines with internal teams involved with the product lifecycle process
  • Manages & Identifies points of dependency in timelines, to ensure cross-functional alignment. This includes monitoring and negotiating key dates and deliverables across all stakeholders
  • Develops, executes, and directs key improvement recommendations to enable growth through improved team efficiencies
  • Works with data and analytics to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; compares data from different sources to draw conclusions and present appropriate solutions to cross-functional leadership
  • Leads monthly meetings with cross-functional partners (POD Leadership) in Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Consumer Products and Marketing, to align on deliverables and achieve operational targets
  • Independently performs and partners in special projects where appropriate and connected to product lifecycle priorities
  • Drives continuous improvement in current departmental processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and create new best practices
  • Ensures stakeholders understand the process and pipeline/priorities as they relate to creative workflow and deliverables

Skills Required:

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to take a big picture view
  • Ability to build and maintain project timelines and project Dashboard with PowerPoint. Experience with Smartsheet is preferred, but not required.
  • Understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle thru lens of product development, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Strong command skills with the ability to lead up, down, and across
  • Very strong interpersonal & negotiating skills to work cross-functionally and build meaningful partnerships with cross functional partners throughout the business
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex business problems
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to create strong presentations to support point of view

 

Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of related experience
  • Experience managing staff and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A team player who collaborates and works closely with other functional areas in the organization.
  • Ability to support a culture of innovation and change.
  • He/she will have highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively at all levels of the organization.

Expected Salary Range: $ 80,440 - 100,550

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
