Job Overview: 

As a member of the Information Technology Team, the Senior Director, Information Technology is responsible for leading the IT Infrastructure function to support the IT services across the Enterprise. This role will be responsible for managing several teams across the Enterprise comprised of Support Services, Data Center Operations, Infrastructure System Administration, and Network Administration. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Technology & Infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Oversee enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure at PCHI.
  • Lead and manage the system administration, networking, operations and desktop support teams.
  • Ensure that the IT infrastructure meets best in class standards.
  • Setup and maintain the IT infrastructure such that systems have the best uptime rate possible.
  • Ensure that our infrastructure meets the cyber security requirements (SOX, CIS, CCPA, etc)
  • Communicates with IT and other departments as needed.
  • Assesses need for new equipment and software.
  • Prepares, maintains and reports to management on IT Infrastructure budget.
  • Hire new members of Infrastructure team.
  • Vendor relationship and management.
  • Establish and implement processes that improve efficiency and quality of output from the team.
  • Any other duties assigned by manager.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years in Computer Science; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical expertise in components like Windows, Linux, VMWare, iSeries, Networking, SAN, Switches, Firewall, Wifi and Access Points, etc.
  • Manage distributed infrastructure located in the cloud (AWS, OCI, Rackspace), on-premises and colocation facilities.
  • Cloud migration and expense control/moderation experience highly desired.
  • Demonstrated success defining and delivering against digital product roadmaps.
  • Ability to partner with business leaders to define business needs and objectives including ability to communicate and influence.
  • Ability to identify, select and manage third-party service providers, including offshore augmented teams.
  • Ability to develop and manage to budget and technology operational metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks and activities based on customer and organization needs.
  • Ability to fully understand business goals and metrics, turn data into insight, and translate requirements into actionable work efforts to achieve intended outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; diagnosing and rectifying problems.
  • Ability to present and communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

Expected Salary Range: $157,080 - $196,350

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.

Job Requirements

Skills Required: 

  • 10+ years leading IT Infrastructure teams in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Sound foundation and understanding of computer systems, security, networks, databases, storage systems, backups and restoration, disaster recovery, etc.
  • Experience leading offshore team and partners.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be self-directed, so as to be able to figure out and prioritize solutions independently v/s looking for directions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great team player.

  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Superior analytical skills, with ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.
