Job Overview
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Transportation Operations Manager in managing transportation of goods from suppliers to end customers, ensuring accurate invoicing and financial reporting, and providing effective oversight of carrier relationships through KPI management. The Transportation Specialist is responsible for providing data to assist the annual budget creation, analyzing and providing feedback on performance of KPI targets, and identifying root cause of variances to KPIs. This role will work with key PCHI stakeholders to ensure timely flow and customer availability of seasonal merchandise, while balancing priorities of service and cost, and adhering to all regulatory and compliance guidelines. Must demonstrate high accountability for achieving financial and service metrics, and embrace and Customer First, People Matter, It Can be Done and Willingness to Celebrate focus at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Review reports, analyze vendor and financial performance, and provider volumes for visibility against performance and KPIs.
▪ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure delivery plans are established and met throughout the year and including peak weeks, Holiday weeks and special events.
▪ Provide reporting on tracking and visibility of shipments, provide daily reports on seasonal programs, and conduct daily processing of invoice data.
▪ Review and analyze existing business practices, procedure and processes, with goal of establishing benchmarks and standard; identify improvements to efficiencies, existing business processes and service levels.
▪ Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Merchandising and Distribution Operation to process any outstanding invoices, and review carrier A/R to ensure timely payments.
▪ Process rate changes to ensure new rates are updated in systems.
▪ Work with Compliance team to ensure vendors provide necessary shipping compliance documents
▪ Other related duties as assigned

Expected Salary Range: $64,320-$80,400
The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
