Job Overview: The Inventory Process Lead will work directly with the Director of Supply Chain Analytics and the VP of Inventory Optimization to recommend, develop, and deploy new and improved inventory management processes leveraging best practices from their relevant retail inventory management experience. The process lead will be responsible for developing simple to use and repeatable processes that help the inventory team work more efficiently and expectation based. Successful inventory process improvement will help PCHI achieve healthy and stable levels of inventory that maximize sales and create consistency and predictability in our flow of goods.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Quickly develop full understanding of all current inventory management processes and identify critical areas of opportunity.
  • Offer insights into new systems and/or technology that can help support and enable new processes.
  • Identify and recommend quick process improvements that can be made leveraging current systems and technology.
  • Develop and prioritize new processes in collaboration with key internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Engage with HR Learning and Development team to develop SOPs and training content for all developed process improvements.
  • Lead status meetings / updates where needed
  • Maintain continuous and ongoing training workshops to ensure understanding of role clarity, ease-of-use, and end-user adoption of newly developed processes.
  • Effectively implements and manages projects, plans, resources, and timelines
  • Develop ways to measure effectiveness of new processes through KPI dashboards.
    • User Adoption %, # of Manual hours reduced, Source vendor OTIF % improvement, In Stock % Improvement for replenishing SKUs, improved PO fill rates at start of category reset/season.

  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
  • A connector. Someone who brings together the information, the resources and the forums needed to get work done on time, on budget and with efficiency.
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable with data collection, analyzing, and interpreting data.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7+ years of either Retail Inventory Management, Planning, Replenishment, Supply Chain Systems or Supply Chain PMO experience.
  • Previous experience developing policies and SOPs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience leading a team, monitoring, and measuring performance.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management / planning and/or replenishment systems.
  • Excellent Communication skills and experience providing technical support to matrixed organizations, insights, and solutions to senior functional leaders.
  • Collaborative: exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate administration, training, and technical support.

Expected Salary Range: $100,560 – $125,700

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
