PURPOSE OF POSITION: 

Provide direct support to the Fabrication operation(s) by completing die changes and inspecting dies.



ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Know and follow all Anagram SAFETY policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and coordinate die change needs for the day with help of Fabrication Supervisor and/or Lead.
  • Be able to obtain required die numbers from work orders and/or other communication.
  • Must be able to operate machinery to move dies when needed.
  • Exchange dies in balloon machine using a mobile die cart and necessary hand tools.
  • Be able to complete die change from start to finish in the required time set by Fabrication Supervisor.
  • Inspect dies and clean as necessary.
  • Die Change Assemblers may be utilized as machine operators when needed.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Six (6) months experience in a high production, manufacturing environment. Experience working with automated packaging equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures required to produce a high quality product.
  • Must have good problem solving abilities.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and tilt up to 200 pounds.

 Expected Working Hours
This position works 12 hours shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) for a total of 84 hours per two-week pay period.
