Job Overview:

The Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating day-to-day plant production operations under the direction of the Plant Supervisor.  The Lead will ensure consistent and effective shift transition.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Works with Plant Supervisor to determine daily staffing assignments to meet production and quality goals of the shift.
  • Assists Plant Supervisor in reviewing the operation of plant equipment and systems, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assists with minor repairs and adjustments on machines.
  • Assists operators with clean-ups, wash-ups, and changeovers.
  • Assists in the training of team members.
  • Ensures compliance with PCHI Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in a manufacturing facility, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software applications.
