Job Overview

The Sourcing Operations Specialist will play a key role supporting the Sourcing Operations Manager. This role will work closely with the manager to execute sourcing operations strategies and key initiatives to help achieve financial goals. The Sourcing Operations Specialist will be a key assist to the Sourcing Operations Manager in product set-up, cost management, quoting and project management.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Builds effective relationships with cross-functional partners, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to produce positive results and champion change.
  • Executes the product operations initiatives in support of the department priorities.
  • Responsible for new item set up in PLM system and all data maintenance of existing products.
  • Understands costing and margin to complete pricing analysis.
  • Assists Sourcing Operations Manager with providing costs to PC Merchants based on margin requirements.
  • Prepares pre-season item analysis (including inventory liability) for PC merchant team.
  • Monitors the time and action calendar to meet deadlines.
  • Review quality and delivery metrics to assist manager in identifying issues or concerns.
  • Executes special projects as needed.
  • Provides creative solutions to unplanned changes that may occur and proactively problem solves.

The salary range (55k – 60k) offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Experience in Sourcing Product Management and/or Operations in a Consumer Products retail environment.
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of costing and margin
  • Strong data analytics and reporting – familiarity using a PLM system.
  • Ability to handle and organize large volumes of work while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to retain a depth of information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Service Focused
  • Adaptable to a changing work environment
  • Ability to take direction, follow through and meet deadlines.
  • Position is Hybrid
  • Knowledge of Windows OS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel & PowerPoint.
