- 1st Shift: Mo-Fr 7am- 3:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Mo-Fr 3pm-11:30pm
- 3rd Shift: Su-We 8pm-6:30am/Tu-Fr 8pm-6:30am
Maintenance Mechanic Job Description:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor system and other equipment within the facility.
- Trouble shoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment and components.
- Installs belts in machinery, adjusts tension rolls, straightens parts, aligns rollers, and replaces defective parts.
- Ability to install EMT conduit and wire up and troubleshoot high voltage circuits (480VAC).
- Perform Plant and grounds maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting, and light
- equipment repair.
- Cleaning sidewalks and entrances of snow and ice, as needed.
- Comply with all corporate policies and OSHA rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate a reach truck, electric pallet transport and man lift equipment.
- Ability to understand electrical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuit boards.
- PLC background and knowledge of air systems a plus
EXPERIENCE: 1+ years of mechanical experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, push, reach with
hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds.
OTHER DUTIES
As workloads fluctuate, cross-training/rotating to other departments within the facility will occur as needed. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Salary Range: $21.47-$26.84/hourly
Expected Salary Range: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
